Natural Granite

Natural granite is used across many applications and environments. Like marble, it's sometimes overlooked for having been used so widely, for so long — but there are good reasons for its enduring popularity.

Features of Granite

FTR.01

A Long-Term Investment

A soft cloth and gentle cleanser is enough after cooking or dining. Granite is tough, resistant to staining and etching, won't scorch under a hot pan, and can be sealed in about 10 minutes.

FTR.02

Unparalleled Style

No two pieces are identical. From rich earth tones and vibrant greens, blues, reds and yellows, to classic black, grey and white — there's a slab at home in any home.

FTR.03

Built To Last 30+ Years

Granite costs more upfront, but lasts 30 years or more and can be replaced more than once — an integral, durable and timeless part of any kitchen or bathroom's design and function.

FTR.04

Heat Resistant

Granite is difficult to break, scratch or chip, and can withstand temperatures higher than your stove — though a trivet is still recommended for hot pots straight off the flame.

Granite offers fewer colours than quartz, and needs sealant to ensure longevity — though less frequently than marble. Choosing granite lets the stone look more natural, without the risk of chipping seen in marble or quartz.
